淋巴结内的噬红细胞现象（erythrophagocytosis）是指窦内巨噬细胞吞噬外渗的、衰老的和/或受损的红细胞（Figure 1、Figure 2，箭头）。噬红细胞现象在正常条件下不发生，最常与淋巴结出血、充血、窦性红细胞增多症以及自身免疫性和其他免疫病理状态相关。

Erythrophagocytosis in lymph nodes consists of macrophages within sinuses that phagocytize extravasated, old, and/or damaged erythrocytes ( Figure 1 and Figure 2 , arrows). Erythrophagocytosis does not occur under normal conditions and is most often associated with lymph node hemorrhage, congestion, sinus erythrocytosis, and autoimmune and other immunopathologic conditions.
